1 week and a day

Disclaimer: don't mind my tenses. thanks.

i don't feel like blogging. but i just had to type this cos i might regret this in the future. this is not a milestone but another new experience in my vocation. i spent 1 week and a day at a mental facility to immerse with the clients. the rationale behind this is we need to feel like the clients and do what they do so that we will be able to take care of them appropriately. so... allow me to tell you more

1. i was supposed to go to the facility with a former schoolmate. she decided not to go cos she was not allowed to.

2. we were 10 in the beginning. -2.. 8 of us survived the week.

3. i met nice people from the immersion. of course, my co 'immersionists' (annaliza, nerie, kim, ate lorie, darwin, franz, gilbert, ryan and ate amy). Ryan and ate amy decided not to proceed with the program.

4. hrmmm. let me tell you that the immersion was not exactly what i expected. i must admit, my ego was quite pushed down... i felt some of the activities were inappropriate. on second thought, though, i realized it's indeed important. discipline is important. we need it cos discipline is what we will teach our clients.

6.on a happy note, i built new friendships within the group. i didn't feel like being the 'CO' (see, i even forgot what that stands for.. sort of a leader) but they still voted me. brrr. anyway, it's great to work with the team. it's great to have witnessed each other's talents. can you believe i can play the drum set??? it was my first time ever to play it!!! ever ever! haha. also, i discovered, i can dance, too... Gosh i'm so talented! haha.

7. i don't like getting my hands dirty. i don't like sweeping the floor. i don't like brushing off the leaves in the backyard grass.... guess what... i did all that in the facility.. and it was ok. i actually appreciated it. now, i can bring the practice home. :D

8. the place is very relaxing. it's a clean place. the cool wind and the rustling sound of the leaves just made me want to sit in a recliner chair, read a good book and drink cold milk. of course, i can't do that.

9. there are still a lot to learn in psych nursing. i want to learn more. it's just that i still cant decide now if i'd continue my volunteer work there due to some stuff.. some options... haaay. God help me please.

Patricia Klopf

I was my first time meeting her. she's really TALL and very pretty. it was great taking her pictures cos she doesn't have this superstar attitude. she's very down to earth and easy to be with even if it was her first time being with us. The camera loves her. Very photogenic.

We were just laughing all the time and having a great day in the beautiful scenery of Taytay Falls. Being with the Klik friends (mam Chix, Byords, Thoff, Carol and hubby) makes it easier to shoot.

The best part that day was going home. Had a top-load experience (riding at the jeep's roof) with Thoff and Byords. It was kinda scary, though, especially when Tim told be about his friend's gory accident. brrr.. Anyway. that'll be the last Top-load ride for me.

Jasmine

Jasmin Martinez, a co-photographer and model.

It's amazing how Jasmine turns from a shy, quiet girl into a blooming young lady, full with confidence.

We planned to shoot Gredy Xiu style but it kinda turned out differently. I preferred to have a guy in the picture, but the male model didn't make it. It was 2pm.. scorching madness! It was hot that day! around 3:30pm, the sun hid behind the clouds ---- overcast! I'm not a fan of the overcast lighting condition (although many photographers, i think, love it) but the shoot went well. :) Bravo, Jasmine!

Alice In Wonderland

One of Klik's grand shoot (unofficially, cos we are 'underground' for the moment. lol). the shoot went well despite of the rain and the sunless sky. we pulled it off. Bravo to mam Chix and Reiko for doing the hair and make-up. I did a little, but they did most of the work. :D haha. Thanks to the models: Midge, Jasmine, Rheycell, Anshang, Gem and Patty, for being so game in a gloomy day.

chai, ang dami mo ring natutunan ngayon araw nato. kala mo, ang street photography ay basta basta nalang. hindi pala. maraming elemento kang dapat malaman. ang daming technicalities... maganda rin na nakikinig sa mga experto. sabi nga nila, "it's good to know the rules. once you know them, break them!"

gayun pa man, tandaan mo, ang potograpiya ay nasa panlasa mo. kung maganda at may storya ang litratong ginawa mo, edi panalo! bahala na ang madlang people na mag husga sa gawa mo. basta ikaw, masaya, yun ang pinaka importateng elemento ng sining na ito. kung may mali sa mata ng iba, edi mali sa kanila... you can't please everybody.

salamat sa mga UK people na nag respunde sa iyong mga litrato.

1) Subject + Background + Coherence = SP

2) The photographer is included in the photographs he/she is taking. prevent using zoom lenses cos they make the photos look cold.

3) Think before you pitik.

4) patience is a virtue... anticipate what's going to happen next.

5) compose!

Finally! a motivation for me to blog! yipee! blogger, i'm really sorry for leaving you behind like this. i have long, overdue stories for you... i just have to have this urge to write. this activity, i found in cher Keneth's facebook. he's doing a "100 day Photo Challege". very interesting. i'm going to do that, too! hehe. gaya gaya!

i'm excited to do this! i hope i won't get lazy.

oh, by the way, the photo gigs i did for the past few weeks, i shooulda been talkin about it. i will. tomorrow. i promise. i hope i won't break it. :D

i have to take off this hideous make up. the face is getting itchy.

I was experimenting on smokey eye make up today... and it turned out to be "smoking eye".. haha! i had it all wrong, not even on each eye. i decided to play with it and put black eyeliner and black eyeshadow on my lips... i'm confused with my anatomy now! LOL

i look like the third member of the dresden dolls. that's ok, 'cause i've been listening to their music the whole day! i'm stuck with this ear candy at home, but, with no food and no one to talk to. (well, there IS food but i'm too lazy to cook. bad me.)... i know, i know... thou shall not be lazy when it comes to food. others die of hunger because, food, they have none...

i had more eventful activities prior to this day. i was just too lazy to blog it...

damn this laziness.

ngayon, naiintindihan ko na kung bakit ang mga lalaki ay nagsasabi ng gantong mga kataga. tayong mga kababaihan, minsan, magulo talaga ang pagiisip (o baka ako lang yun). *tok tok tok*

Anyway...

haaay gusto kong magrelax... feeling ko hindi naman ako natoxic sa ER. kahit ang daming dumating na panget. PANGET! may VA, gunshot wound, meron barado yung airway... yung isa, di na na- revive. yung isa, ewan. dapat tinubuan na sha, sisinghap singhap na kasi. late na nung binawi yung "refuse to intubate". sana na revive parin.

sikip sikip don sa surgery area. nakaka amaze paano gumalaw yung mga nars at doktor sa napakaliit na lugar. para lang kaming naglalaro ng doctor kwak kwak. feeling ko mag bubuhol buhol yung mga ECG at BP app, IV line at kung ano pa ang nakasukbit sa pasyente, pero hindi, very organized. ang galing nga e. dapat malaman ko pala ano dapat ang mga gamit na dapat iready kapag may panget. basta naobserve ko, hila agad ang ECG, ambobag, swero, laryngoscope, BP app.. ngerk, hindi ako nakapag CPR o nakapagbukas man lang ng epi. hehe. 10pm na kasi e. lumayas na ako. busy busy pa sila don. ang dami na nila.

isa pang weird sa araw na to. ako lang ang pumasok sa circle of friends namen. wala si mark, kim, marj, lyn, etc. nalungkot ako bigla kasi feeling ko, ako yung bago dahil may mga taga DOLE. dahil bago sila, feeling bago din ako. nakilala ko si Rose, bagong pasok sa hospital. DOLE. mabait naman sha.

weird... alam ko na.. nararamdaman ko na ang transition. na mawawala na kame... waah. nalulungkot ako!!!

pagkalabas ko ng hosp, nakita ko si anchie at si emman. gusto ko pa sana tumambay, kaso nga lang gabi na. kaya, umalis narin ako.

nawirdohan lang ako ngayong araw nato. at sa mga panahong nagdaan. ayoko na maging melancholic. may kasabihan nga na, being happy is a choice. i choose to be happy. it's ok to feel sad, but it's unhealthy to prolong the agonizing feeling. diba??? dibaaa????

mula ngayon, magiging masaya na ako. lahat ng tao, kaibigan ko. hindi na ako mapapraning kung ano ang tingin nila sakin. basta ako, i'll be myself, just like before. :D and i will do my best in everything i do. i shall keep the faith.

ok naring yung hospital week. pero sana mas may oras pa para makipag bonding kasama ang group ko at ibang groups. haaay.. naluluha ako ng bahagya.

Kid's birthday party turned into a Dance club! hahaha! san ka pa!?

birthday ng anak ni nicah. Ang daming handa! dami daming food pero kami lang na mga co-volunteers ang imbitado.

hindi pa nga lahat ay nakarating. si marj, mark, kim, lyn, reg at darlene lang ang andon. hindi na nakarating yun iba siguro dahil may duty.

Pagkatapos kumain, videoke and t-ice time na! hrmm, badtrip ako pag nagvvideoke. hindi ko matandaan yung mga title ng gusto kong kantahin... pati lyrics, nawawalang parang bula!

Videoke at alcohol, parang kanin at ulam yan. parang masmasarap humiyawhiyaw pag ika'y tipsy, agree?

Bumuhos ang matinding ulan. nag-brown out. natigilan. walang magawa. dapat mag chichikahan ng da-who. hahaha... biglang nagka-koryente! sabi ko sa kanila, next time, party party tayo, yung may sayaw naman! agree naman silang lahat sakin at excited pa... at dahil don, we brought the party DOoooWN! yeah. lol!

Na-daig ang Encore! hahaha. parang instant noodle soup ang instant party namin... Party music jan, patay ilaw, labas ang cellphones (props pang ilaw) at dance floor dito! shempre, mawawala ba naman ang documentation team? shempre ako yun! PICTURE!

Bahahahaha! the party was over at 8:30pm.

Last 2 weeks

"dalawang linggo nalang tayo mag d-duty, magaabsent pa tayo? wag na!", narinig ko sa isa kong kasamahan.

Dalawang linggo... parang nalungkot naman ako bigla. ang bilis naman ng panahon. dati, parang nakakabugnot pumasok araw-araw at mag trabaho sa napakainit na hospital, lalo na kapag night duty. pffft.

ang weird lang kasi nag e-emo ako. haha.

mamimiss ko lang tong mga to. mamimiss ko mga topak.

Tingnan mo naman ang mga mukha. hahaha!

shempre, hindi pa yan kumpleto.

sabi nga ni kim, bat kung kelan pa patapos na ang LPH days, saka nagkakabonding bonding ang mga tauhan. (ngayon lang kasi nagkaron ng mahabang bonding time dahil sa sports fest. sana nga e nakapaglaro din ako ng isports... kung hindi lang ako hinihika nung mga panahong iyon).

sana nga lang, nakachika ko din yung mga interesting people sa aking palagay. hehehe.

anyway....

hay naku, my friends... hanggang sa muli! Good luck sa ating lahat!

Ang babaw lang no? yan muna yung mga simpleng bagay na gusto kong gawin (short term basis). palagay ko ay feasible naman yan. si ayi ang nag suggest na gumawa ako ng ganto dahil sa panaginip kong weird (blog entry entitled "kasal bangungot"). ang panaginip daw na yun ay isang wake up call na dapat magkaron ng pagbabago sa aking buhay... new beginnings nga daw sabi ni yiton.

FEATI Cosplay and FPPF judging

Ha! nakakatuwa naman. feeling ko nanalo ako ng scratch a lotto kanina ng nalaman kong napapasok sa top 30 ang isa sa mga na submit ko sa fppf. :D nakakatuwa. akala ko disqualified ang aking mga obra dahil mejo may pagka 3d at 2d yun. nagulat nga ako at nasa group ng mga isasalang yung bubble like chandilier ko. sabi ko pa nga na kung hindi man ito matanggap, ireregalo ko ito sa aking kaibigan na may kaarawan. hehehe. kahit top 30, parang isang malaking karangalan narin na napansin kahit papano ang aking litrato. yahoo! :D

eto yung nakapasok. :D

isa pang nakakagulat na pangyayari, biglaan naman ako napasali sa boggle competition ng fppf. mehn naman. hindi naman po ako prepared. nakalimutan ko na kung paano maglaro ng boggle. tas bawal pa ang 4 letter word. pffft.. anyway. natuwa naman ako kahit papano. parang get together at katuwaan lang ng mga kapwa photog.

serious na serious naman sila. hahaha! ako parang "nooninooninooo" lang... nagmamasid sa mga mukha nilang seryoso. nyahahaha. sa set 3 lang ako mejo may nai-contribute. hehehe.

eto nga pala yung banner na may logo kami! hihi! ayos!

bago pala namin tinahak ang maulang tanghali papunta sa fppf, nagpunta muna kami sa FEATI para suportahan si Mez sa pagkuha ng litrato ng mga cosplayers. haaay... nakakapanghinayang ang iskwelahan nila. alam kong maganda dapat ang plano sa architecture ng gusali nila. mukhang naubusan ng funds at hindi na pinagpatuloy ang paggawa. ruins ang school na iyon. tskkk. kala nga namin ni cher keneth, merong swimming pool sa loob. yun pala, binaha lang.

hindi pa naman nag simula kaagad ang pageant. mga alas dos daw nag simula. pero alas tres na kami umalis ni cher keneth mula sa fppf pabalik ng feati.

Hindi ko hilig mashado mag picture ng mga cosplayers noon... . pakiramdam ko pa ay wala akong mga pondo sa aking pinagkukuha kanina. pero nuong ni-review ko yung mga litrato, ok pala.. mukhang tunay na anime sila sa litrato...

hahaha...

pero, ayun nga... dahil inabot kami ng mabagal at nakakainip na trapiko, may oras para mag munimuni at mag kodakan sa loob ng bus.

"Lord, salamat. panaginip lang!".

Yan ang unang dasal ko pagising ko kaninang umaga. nuon lang yata ulit akong gumising na naka kunot ang noo. ang sama kasi ng panaginip ko.

Kinasal daw ako sa isang lalaking hindi ko kakilala. siya ang pinakasalan ko dahil yung gusto ko raw ay hindi na "pwede". yung lalaki, kamukha ni bo sanchez. eksato, may nunal din. sabi ko, mabait naman e. sha nalang. at least pwede. andon nga si ate madie (ang role nya daw ay tumulong sa pag decide kung ano ang gagawin ko)..

tinawagan ko daw si bo sanchez look-alike para tanungin o magpropose. aba, at pumayag ang bruho.

so, ayun. kinasal na daw sa huwis. pagkatapos ng kasal, sa hallway, nakasalubong ko sha. sabi ko, "hi husband." at nag high five kami. mehn, ang gaspang ng kamay! isip isip ko, yan ba ang lalaking pinakasalan ko???? OMG! sabi pa nya, "uwi na tayo."... sa loob loob ko, AYOKO NGA!!!! waaah!!!!

"Ano ba ang pinasukan ko???"... at may problema pa pala! hindi alam ni mommy at daddy na kinasal ako! talagang sa panaginip e namumrublema pa ako kung paano sasagutin ang mga tanong na what? who? where? when? how?

hindi ko na nga narinig ang pag alarm ng cellphone ko. 6:05am na ako nagising! booo!

Just another Spaghetti day

it was nice to see the tanders again. Hindi nga lang lahat ang naka dalo.

Si ate aimee, buntis and happy. si ate rizza, slim and single! haha. si aiza, blooming at madaming boylets. si kaye, sarah g. fan parin at namimilog. yung iba, hindi ko na invite. sobrang pagod ako nung araw na yun. wala pang tulog pero nag prepare parin ng spaghetti para sa kanila. spaghetti day e. habang nag hihiwa ako ng sibuyas, lumulutang na ang diwa ko.

habang nanonood ng "the tourist", nakatulog. ang naabutan ko nalang e yung imprtanteng parte ng pelikula, YUNG HULI! pffft... kainis. hindi ko tuloy na enjoy ang movie. hindi narin ako mashadong nakapagkwentuhan at antok mode plush allergies pa. hinika na ako. hay buhay. ayun lang.

sige lowbat na tong laptop ko. next time na ule.

Antique Shoot

hindi ko nanaman alam kung paano ko sisimulan tong blog nato. nagtatalo ang isip ko kung english o tagalog ang gagawin ko. gusto ko kasing magkwento tungkol sa photoshoot ni reg kasama si ate madie, mark at keneth.

First time daw ni reg mag pose for the camera pero hindi kami makapaniwala dahil very natural sha magpose. parang marunong na. wala kaming kahirap hirap mag instruct sa kanya. nakakatuwa. :D

nakakatuwa din dahil si mark ang official photographer ni reg. andaming pondo ni mark, in fairness. :D debut naman ni ate madie sa world of fashion photography using her new DSLR. naks! at pumondo naman agad. si cher keneth naman ay sumunod. as usual, panalo shots ulit. ako? hrmmm. sinong hindi pumondo? lol. sa palagay ko meron din naman akong nicer shots (in my opinion). hindi narin akong nag atubiling mag post process dahil natuwa naman ako sa photoscape. ang tema dapat ni reg ay retro jetsetter. lumihis ng kaunti sa napagkasunduan. mas nagmukang model sha ng retro apparell. para naman mag mukhang luma, gumamit nalang ako ng antique filters. ayun. sakto. nagmukhang luma. wiiipiii! for me panalo na yun. :) may mga naglike naman na hindi ko ineexpect na mag like sa facebook kaya nakakatuwa. :D

pagkatapos ng isang maaksyon at nakatutuwang kodakan. nanlibre si ate madie ng andoks dahil birthday nya. ;) nakakahiya nga dahil bago yun, napagtripan ko kanchawan. sabay bawi naman ako at sabi ko kami nalang bahala sa aming ulam. pero, hehehe, nanlibre parin. ok narin. celebration narin yun. tuwa lang naman ako at palagay ko, over all e masaya naman sila.

nakapasok pa kami ni mark ng 10-6am. :) umuwi naman ako kinabukasan sa calamba para imeet sila aiza and the rest of the tanders. miss ko na kasi yung mga yun... that's another story.

This was one awesome shoot! The location was perfect. the models were great (costume/HMUA). The team work of Klik was remarkable. oh.. and i did STROBING for the first time!!! :)

I had issues with the framing since we were engulfed by darkness. I a.m happy with the outcome

Welcome Back ERT!!! (late post)

ikkwento ko lang ang muling pagkikita namin ni ert at ayi nuong June something 2011. galing si ert sa indonesia. umuwi sha dahil school break doon. si ayi naman ay nanggaling sa trabaho.. pagsinabi naman "trabaho ni ayi", kahit saan. kahit nasa kapihan yun, kahit nasa mall, nagtratrabaho. basta't may laptop lang.dahil sabik ako makita si ert, lumuwas ako sa manila para makapag hapunan kasama sila kahit meron akong pasok ng 6am kinabukasan. nagkitakita kami sa Coffee bean and tea leaf sa may gateway mall sa cubao. buti naman at nakarating ng matiwasay. sumunod ang ayi. ang lola mo ay naka shorts! ika nga nya, "try it. it's liberating." ayan ang quotation of the night.

Wala pa si ert kaya sha muna ang pinag usapan namin. marami kasi shang issues tungkol sa you-know-what. pinagusapan na namin ang mga opinion namin tungkol ke papa tabs. may mga hand gestures pa kaming nalalaman. at mejo malakas pa ang boses namin.

dumating ang ert.... nakipag beso beso sa isang babae sa kabilang table. isang katrabaho pala mula sa kanyang pinanggalingang bansa!!! inay ko po! sana hindi nya narinig ang pinaguusapan namin. booyah!

nakakagulat ang kapulahan ng buhok ni ert. dahil hindi pa ako nakarating ng cubao expo, nag request ako na sana duon kami kumain. ang buong akala ko, ang cubao expo ay isang kapihan o kainan kung saan maraming mga artifartsy stuff. hindi pala. isang hanay sha ng mga gusali na may sari saring laman. may restawran, bilihan ng sapatos, may museum at inuman. kung ano ano...

napadaan kami sa isang italian restaurant. mahal ang mga mga pagkain. pero sige.. tinira narin namin dahil hindi ko feel don sa sisigan (ang arte ko no). at para iba naman. Ang ganda kasi sa loob nung italian restaurant. mabango... cozy... tahimik. maganda talaga ang ambiance. tipong puntahan ng mga nag d-date.

ang aking i-n-order...

parang ravioli. may meat at mozzerella cheese sa loob topped with tomato sauce... masarap? hrmmm... masarap naman. maalat lang. kaya nilagyan ko ng konting tubig. sabay lumapit yung italianong may ari.. "is the food good?".. sabi ni ayi, "the food is great!" hrmph... sana sinabi ko maalat. pffft. para naman mas ma satisfy ako. dibale. next time (kung may next time pa). pag fine dining, wag mahiyang mag sabi na hindi masarap ang pagkain. :D

hagikhikan kami sa hapagkainan habang pinaguusapan si papa T. kami lang ata ang maingay don... botong boto naman kami kay papa J para kay ert. hehehe. si ayi, mukhang may balak pa agawin si papa j.haha. hang hot kasi.

so bale, duon lang umikot ang mga istorya namin sa buhay buhay. wala naman akong makwento tungkol sa lovelife ko. e sa wala ih! pero ayos lang yun.

pagkatapos, nagkape kami sa Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf AT nakipag skype kay Mygz. Si papa T parin ang napag usapan. Hottest issue kasi. hahaha! :D

10:00pm na ako nakasakay ng bus. last trip. buti maka abot ako!

Bakit ngayon ko lang na-discover ang flickr??? mula ngayon, sa multiply, flicker at facebook nalang ako maglalagay ng mga litrato. sa multiply, organisado ang paghahanay ng mga litrato doon. kaya ang sarap balikan at tignan. sa facebook naman, masayang mag lagay ng litrato dahil may nag ccomment. sa flickr, mas madali ang uploading at pwede pa ilagay dito sa blog. sana lang hindi nila tanggalin pag dumating na ang panahon na maka 200 shots ako. sabi ni ate rochie, 200 pictures lang daw ang nakikita sa photostream. pero na reretrieve parin naman. yun lang gusto ko lang ishare. :D

pero ibang usapan ang website. mga magagandang pictures lang ang ilalagay ko sa wix ko at sa shutterfly. :)

I arrived at the DPP Anniversary venue at 12:30pm (June 4, 2011). It was indeed a challenging journey for me. I got lost! I had to ask several guards for the said place and I had to walk under the scorching sun! Tired and hungry, i was... boohoo..

I knew i finally arrived in the area when i saw people with Canon ID laces and cameras. "I WANT ONE!!!", it told myself. The excitement melted the fatigue away. After the registration, i immediately went to Fully Booked to attend the Strobing and Lighting Seminar. I've never seen such a bookstore with soooo many books... Fully Booked has 5 floors! Anyway, I got there on time but the organizer said i needed a stub to get in. Aduh!!! "Just look for another seminar.", she said... WHAT?! grrrr! I wanted to tell her, "i hate you." I was too tired and hungry to get even furious. so just I checked the schedule and found another seminar held inside the bookstore. I quickly went to the 5th floor and found out that it was LITO SY who will hold the talk! LITO SY?! The multi-awarded Filipino wedding photographer?! Come on!

ang daming aktibidades sa June 4! ang dami dami talaga... Bukas ay PYESTA dito sa Sta. Cruz, Anniversary ng DPP, supposedly reunion at despidida party ng isa sa mga matatalig ko kaibigan na si Mygz (pupunta na sha sa Singapore) at Performance Arts sa Makati! Ano nga ba ang game plan ko bukas?

1. Siguro mag papalate nalang ako ng pagpunta sa Makati. Strobing and lighting ang inaabangan ko. 1-2:30PM naman yun... Makikipyesta ako dito sa Sta. Cruz ng 6-9am...(ako na ang mangunguna sa pagkain. hahahah)

2. 9am, magbabayahe na ako papunta ng Makati.
3. Mga 11am andon na ako.. maglalakbay nalamang patungo ng Fort Boni
4. Aattend na ako ng mga seminar tungkol sa Photography.
5. Immeet ko na ang mga ka-klik (kung andon sila)
6. 5pm, hahanapin ko na ang Manila Galleria para makaattend sa 'Absence'
7. 9:00pm, uuwi na ako sa Calamba!

Mukhang malabo na magkita pa kami ni Mygz... at si Ayi ay hindi pwede bukas. May biglaang trabaho sha. ayun. haaaay! tapos meron pa palang Red Cross meeting! tsk. di ko naman nabalitaan ang tungkol doon.

No Duty today! Blog time! hehehe.

I had the longest day, 2 days ago. Keneth and I went to Manila and met with Mez, RJ and Jhun to participate on RJ and Tabelle's gig in Quezon City. It was fun being with the guys again.

It was a fun shoot but i didn't finish the whole set. i had to fly back to Sta. Cruz to attend the Volunteer's outing. It was another adventure for moi cos i had to go home alone! LOL!

I left QC at 1:30pm and and arrived in Sta. Cruz @ 5:00pm. i did not pass by tita Mely's house anymore because i might miss the ride to Nagcarlan. Good thing, i arrived on time.

I thought the outing was just going to be another videoke night. But, nah, i really had fun with my groupmates. maybe because i was taking pictures and instructing them all sorts of poses.. or maybe because of the booze? hhahahaha!

i drank 4 shots of emperador light and 2 bottles of tanduay ice. i was a bit tipsy that night... it was like moving around in a dream... half awake.. half asleep. it's weird. i don't get to drink much. i'm not used to the feeling... but i know how to control it, of course. .. i had a nice laugh. good fun... new friends... awesomeness!

i love maam chix's new 'studio'! nice scenery... nice lighting. it was an awesome afternoon. i just hope i did get some nice shots today. it's great to be around talented, enthusiastic and happy people. :) will post some pics, maybe tomorrow, on my shutterfly acct.. :) wiiih! oh, here's one pic i took from the shoot. woohoo!

Si ert e nagyayaya mag boracay. naku gusto ko talaga mag boracay... o kahit saang beach! kainis. noon pa ako nangangarap na tumapak sa mala abo at puting buhangin ng beach at mag surf!hanggang ngayon e hindi ko parin nagagawa. pffft... sana magawan ko ng paraan... sana pumayag ang hospital! sana may murang ticket pa... sana may raket ako para may pang gastos! :) haha!

Pangarap ko kasing maglagkbay sa mga magagandang lugar talaga. at mag kuha ng picture. hehe. ayun! :)

Summer na. init!

Summer na summer na nga talaga. Soooobrang mainit sa Pilipinas ngayon! Buti nalang, naka- assign ako sa airconditioned na area sa hospital. hehe. ayoko mag kwento mashado tungkol sa hospital... kasi baka mausog. marami din naman ako natututunan. nakapag insert na ako ng IV, nakapag suction, nakapag OF feeding, mag bilang ng drops/ minute ng swero, nakapag palit ng adult diaper (mas mahirap pala talaga compared sa babies)... ayun... ang gusto ko matutunan e kung kailan mag rerefer, at ano ang mga importanteng impormasyon bago ka mag refer sa doktor. nakakakaba parin. pero surviving sa tulong ng Panginoon. (Lord, patuloy nyo po akong gabayan sa mga ginagawa ko sa ikabubuti ng mga nangangailangan.)

6-2pm ang schedule ko kanina. bukas ay 2-10pm... ganyan ang buhay-reliever. iba iba ang schedule. haay.

Good luck naman! 10-6am ang schedule kagabi/ kanina sa hospital. dahil kinailangan kong mag lakad ng papeles, nag tungo ako agad ako sa calamba... walanjo, ang init! para akong tinutusta sa paglalakad ko sa init ng araw. btui nalang, nakasakay ako sa airconed na bus.... dumating ako sa bahay. parang ghost town. tahimik.... maalikabok... ang lungkot. dahil sa pagod at gutom sa paglalakbay, namahinga muna ako. tutal, 11:30 am na, mag lulunch pa ang mga pupuntahan kong mga opisina. isang oras lang ang tambay... sakto, 12:30pm ako nag lakad sa village namin. para akong nasa tiyan ng dragon, aba! (ulet, ANG INEEET!)

Unang stop: sa Bangko.... WOW! SARADO! hebigats nga naman. so, one errand -UNDONE...

Pangalawang stop: sa SM... ok, nag palamig muna... nag lista ako ng bibilhin: cereals, water bottle (kasi mag ggym ako.. naks). eto pa, protein shake (kasi nga, mag gym e, kulet!), specific bag na hindi ko ma-explain ang ichura at oil of olay... mapapagastos ako kaya inisip ko na hindi ko lahat bibilhin. prioritization kung baga. shempre ano ba ang uunahin ko, chan o mukha? shempre mukha! lol! napabili ako ng Oil of Olay. may thought bubble kasing sumulpot sa utak ko e.. sabi nung model sa tv, "you only have one face, so better take care of it." . tama naman sha diba? kahit ano pang ichura ng mukhang yan, kailangan alagaan! napagastos tuloy ako ng mahal. hrmmm, matagal naman maubos yun, kaya ayos lang. pero ayun, ubos ang raket money. good luck! :D

The Firsts :)

The 'Firsts' are always the funnest, most exciting, most riveting, most nerve wracking events in one's life. isn't it? it is! These past few days, i had a series of 'firsts'.

1. April 24, 2011... it was my first time to receive payment from my hobby! yey! My first raket! :) thanks to, 'cher keneth for nudging me to join him in his stint. i hope there will be another one.

2. April 25, 2011... My first day in ICU!!! waaah.... there were only 3 patients but the most 'toxic' cases are in the ICU... no wonder why i was oriented by a senior nurse. it was quite peaceful in my shift. i hope tonight will still be peaceful... please!!!

3. still, April 25, 2011... my first time to go to the GYM!!!! hrmmm... it's nothing like happy capoeira (of course) 'cause it's more repetitive... routine... but, hey, if this will make me a bit meatier, then bring it on! let's go to the gym everyday! thanks to Jean and She for inviting me.

These are just the recent 'firsts' i had... hrmmm... nothing too extravagant. but, yeah, had fun! :)

Nagpunta kami nila Keneth at RJ sa Aliwan Festival para sa FPPF activity. :) Kaming 3 ang nagrepresent ng Klik. ahehehe! Naks!

Eto kwento lang sa mga pangyayari..

Kakatawa, pareho kaming walang dalang malaking pera ni Keneth patungo sa maynila. P270 lang ang dala ko. Isip ako ng isip kung paano ako makakasurvive sa araw na yun kasi pakiramdam ko magkukulang na ung nasa ATM ko. Buti naman at meorn pa naman laman. hehe.

Bagong raket si RJ Domen, kaya sha ang nanlibre ng taxi. :) salamat RJ! haha. 3 kaming nag punta sa Aliwan Festival

Sa FPPF, puro (karamihan) tanders ang mga photographers. Ibang iba sa Klik at puro kabataan kami. LOL! sabi samin ni sir Nix T., meron daw libreng shirt and cap pag dumalo kami sa event na yun. Meron nga! OLYMPUS ang tatak! agn siza na available ay medium lang. kaya yung mga matatabang photographers doon ay nagmukhang winnie the pooh. pero sa iba naman e bagay dahil nagmukhang muscle shirt... sa akin? mukhang pang tulog! laki kasi. wala silang medium na small. hehe.

Ang sarap kumuha ng litrato don sa event. ang daming kulay kasi.

ang daming tao. ang gaganda ng mga floats. pero nakapag picture lang kami sa preparation stage. di kasi makasiksik sa dami ng tao. sayang. pero ok narin. sana lang ay may pondo. naka telephoto lens kasi ako.

di maipinta ang ichura ng mga kasama ko.... siguro hindi narin maipinta ang ichura ko nun. mukhang haggard. ang iniiiiiit kasi!!!! kakapagod din! buti hindi naman ako nagmukhang dalmatian pagkatapos magbilad sa araw.

dahil hindi na kami nakaparada, nagpunta nalang kami sa MOA. nag pa-aircon. kumain. nag-kape... chillax lang. uwian narin pagkatapos. masaya din. sana kasama yung ibang taga klik. sipag naming tatlo mag adventure e. haha! sa susunod ulit. sana mas maraming sumama next time.

bakasyon? haha! oo bakasyon! bakasyon ako ng 2 magkasunod na araw! ngunit ngayon (unang araw), nagtulog lang ako. nagbawi sa mga tulog na hindi ko nakamit nuong mga nakaraan araw. na wiwirdohan lang ako dahil wala akong ginawa. walang shoot. walang meet-ups. walang swimming. e bakasyon! hrmmm..... oh well... baka talagang tinakda na walang agenda ngayon kundi magpahinga. makakabuti narin sa immune system ko ito.

2. sobrang naputikan ang pantalon. nagmistulang polka dots ang pantalon ko! sa maputik na palengke kasi kami lumakad sa paghahanap ng camera shops sa Hidalgo.

3. na meet si Kuya Canon. haha! closey closey na kaagad sha sa mga ka KLIK ko. 0_0.... LOL!

4. Pinigilan ng guard mag shoot. hanubayan!

5. nagkamali ng sakay ng jeep papunta ng buendia. hanubayan!

Ang weird... i'm telling people i'm ok.. "gasgas lang ito." Truth is, i'm not so ok and i feel like i want to vent and moan and huhuhuhu about it. Yes, i only had minor injuries (a few bruises on my back, butt and a 5- inch scratch on my left leg), thank God. But, the thought of being hit (the rewind of it all) is soooo not cool! I'm laughing it off on facebook maybe just to make me feel better (defense mechanism). I'm scared. I don't want that to ever ever happen again. the motorcycle was slow. but the impact of the hit was remarkable, my hair was caught up somewhere on the engine, my cam bag was also caught up i dunno where. I was dragged a few feet and felt the sharp edges of the hard cement on my leg. it is slow motioning in my head. it felt like a doctor kwakwak game. parang nag buhol buhol ang katawan ko... when it stopped, people started to gather around me and helped me up. i heard them saying 'waaaah' and 'nyaaay'. panic mode! the 2 guys in the motorcycle didn't hit and run. buti nalang. their parents paid the hospital bill.

it's weird that i was in high spirits before the incident. i even planned to blog about it. now, im blogging about this accident. either way, i still thank God for still guiding me and giving me all the blessings.

i'm still thankful for the time spent with Klik today and the post-shoot tambay. i didn't feel the cinderella syndrome as well. :) tas parang ang daming napagusapan na may sense para saakin. :) because of my happiness, i thought of everything else that makes me happy (in the past and in the present)... and prayed, thank you...

Siguro sabi ni Lord, wag ako mashado masaya. hehe...

Lord, please make me feel ok again. please give me a good night sleep.

Let's be more careful next time! This is a wake up call.

I have to make money out of my hobby so i can buy a new lens!

i wish i am a world-known photographer (i hope my english is correct. haha) so i can travel the world! haha.

Chasing sunsets

"Psstt, busy ka?"

It's great to have kaladkarin friends! haha! I invited Frankie to come with me to 'baywalk' so i can shoot the sunset. Since we were pretty early for the sunset, we went to Harrison Plaza to eat our late lunch. It was really a late lunch like 4:30pm! haha... Again, i had my hungarian cheese dog! YUM! it only cost P66.00. :)

it was not too far from CCP. Frankie and I just walked over there and asked how much the tickets were for Don Quixote. the cheapest ticket was P400 (no discount for students). pfft. oh well. nevermind. twas too expensive for me.

The sun was setting already. we hurried to the bay side where the fishermen were stationed. i got a nice view of the buildings. :) yey! i saw other photographers chasing the sunset, too. oh, btw, i was using my point and shoot camera. i wanted to bring my slr but i was thinking of going home late that night. since i used my point and shoot, i kinda had problems with the 'noise' of the picture even if i had it set to ISO 100. nevertheless, i'm happy with the outcome. i planned to have the pictures submitted for our Club's internal competition but those that i took were nowhere near complementary colors. Oh well. that's fine!

It was amazing how the sun just hid on the horizon. the color of the sky was just amazing. Frankie and i headed to makati after the sunset. He was looking for a blue shirt for their company's post- valentine's party (i think). I was also discussing to him what he should wear on his photo shoot and pointed on potential clothing i wanted for him. haha! told him to wear a blue shirt, white/ khaki pants and a brown pair of shoes. he wanted to have a remembrance of his long hair before he'd get a haircut. We talked more about it at White hat.

we came up with 3 concepts for the shoot:

1. the preppy look

2. the japanese inspired look

3. dang... i forgot the 3rd one!

i told him to go to the gym and develop muscles so he'd look good on photos. hahaha. he seemed to be very excited! haha. he eved showed me sample shots of some guy on FB.

i want male models this time!

nakaka hurt din pala kapag first time i-criticize yung work mo.... constructive criticism naman sha pero parang may kirot. hehe... siguro... aside sa na feel ko na nilait ang work ko, e, inis lang kasi kulang pa ang pag-isip ko sa ginagawa ko. parang shoot and go na ako. lol. pero ayos lang... kaya nga ako nagaaral para matuto... para mailagay ko sa maayos na larawan ang mga gusto kong kuhanan.

masaya ang workshop at sobrang dami talagang natutunan. ang fave topic ko ay yung composition. dami dami daming techniques para mapaganda ang litrato.... kung baga sige kalimutan mo muna ang mga iso, aperture at shutterspeed na yan... magcompose ka muna ng maayos... at pag hasa na, go! mag 3 pillars ka na. :) magaling mag turo si sir Nik Taytay... natutuwa ako sa mga nagtuturo based sa mga experiences nila, hindi yung galing lang sa libro. ;)

masaya rin kasama ang mga ka-workshop ko. :) ang kkwela. sa una tatahi-tahimik. mga pagod kasi sa byahe. pero once warmed up na, ayan, tawa tawa na. LOL!

Sobrang sulit ng basic photog workshop na ito talaga. :) sana magamit ko lahat ng natutunan ko.... i mean, gagamitin ko talaga! hahahahaha!

prepared narin akong ma-okray ulit. it hurts, pero mas gusto ko naman yung malaman ko yung mali at paano itama yun. :)

i got frustrated today! :( until now, i don't seem to be satisfied with picture style my cam is producing. this was supposed to be the day when i just had to aim and shoot, not bother much on techie stuff. i just can't help it! these are my sentiments:

1. the pics on the camera's lcd look nice. but when i transfer it to my computer, they look a little over exposed. the colors do not seem right, too.

2. i keep changing the picture style settings. i'm now confused what to use (deoending the the lighting condition)

3. Grrrrh!

Canon, i love you. but please give me what i want! work with me!

oh... here's the thing.. I RAN OUT OF BATTERIES! I was not able to get decent pictures of the balloons. bummer!

Hot Air Balloon Festival

Planes. Kites. Divers. Paramedics. Balloons. People.

They were everywhere!!!! The HAB (Hot Air Balloon Fiesta) was held in the Air Force City in Clark Freezone Port. Ate and I arrived there at 7:30am. Since there were a lot of people in-line for the tickets, we decided to eat breakfast first before going in. The balloons had already flown anyway. I got a few shots of them in the air. (lousy looking pictures. pfft!)

At 9am, buying the tickets was a breeze! it was fast! We stayed inside the airport up until 7pm. Here's the list of what we did.

1. watched the airplanes do their routine

2. watched the kites

3. photographed the surroundings (i have sentiments about this. will share later)

4. tasted BUKO SHAKE! yum!

5. asked Ate Rochie to take pictures of me in the area. hehe

6. watched the divers prepare for their take-off

7. tour inside the airport guided by Pearl

8. ate lugaw and isaw

9. saw the HOt Air Balloons!!! :)

It felt like Disney Land. IT's amazing to have seen those HUGE BALLOONS! i did not expect myself to be in so much awe. I feel that the music and the night sky gave a certain feel to it. :)

Road trip

whoa... i spent a fortune just for the fare going to (and from) tagaytay. well, actually, geca and i made a few stops before going there. we had to drop by st. cabrini to get the license numbers of our preceptors for our IVT cases. thank God i'm all done with it! :)

Anyway, it was noon and was scorching hot! the weather is becoming very confusing nowadays. on our way to tagaytay, dark clouds piled up in the sky and started to drizzle... so i thought "NOOOOOO. i neeeed the suuuun!!!"... mother nature heard me and made the rain stop.... (it was not really raining in some parts of the expressway!)

originally, we were supposed to go to nasugbu, batangas. we decided not to pursue it since it's late in the afternoon. so, we stayed in tagaytay instead. Shooting wass my main goal for this trip. i wanted to take photos of the taal lake and the mountains. guess what? the scene was hazy! *grrr* i was expecting the sun to light up the scene and give me a gorgeous landscape. sorry me. *hrmp*

i think this shot is pretty interesting. hehe

i haven't transferred the pictures in my PC. i have yet to discover if i did get nice shots. i hope i did!

where did we go? we went to the "palace in the sky"... palace? you call that palace? hahaha! it's more like "ruins in the sky"! Sayang. they should have taken care of the place. what a waste! the view should have been great if i went there in the morning (i guess). Next time, i shall.

the walk going down from the palace was better than being at the palace! there was ride going back to the market except the over-priced tricycle. no way will pay P80.00 just for a short ride??? we started to walk and felt the cool breeze of the place. the view was quite awesome too. :) the walk was indeed very short! we saw jeepneys! good thing we didn't pay 80 pesos. that's the fare going back to laguna already. we were supposed to go to 'picnic grove' and 'our Lady of Manawag' but decided not to 'cause we might miss the last trip going home. "Gala nalang tayo sa Paseo." and off to paseo, we were. :) Geez, i fell asleep in the van! yikes!

I told myself i'm not eating out.... sorry, but i did. *spank*.... yellow cab's spaghetti and meat balls + a 10 inch cheese pizza were for dinner. BUSOOOG! i went home with a fat tummy and a thin wallet.

it was fun. thanks geca, for the company. :)

Chocolates and Chicken

"Kuya, meron ba kayong sugar free chocolates dito?".... Geez.. whatever happened to Petchai who swore not to eat chocolates forever and ever? Starting late December 2010, i started nibbling on chocolate truffles. i remember, Renz and her niece, Lara O. and Andrew witnessed this. I placed the truffles in a white bowl... they were just picking it and popping 'em in their mouths. i said to myself, why not try just a little, tiniwini bite?... and so i did... IT WAS HEAVEN. While savoring its bitter-sweet goodness, i was also observing myself since i wouldn't like to unleash the monstrous transformation that i had before.... Lately, when i feel a little reaction, i'd take a pill.

Kuya said there were no available sugar free chocolates for sale. I ended up buying a Goya Dark Chocolate with Almond and Cabury Strawberry Wafer. Nyum nyum!

Petchai must have been lenient to herself, lately... i just hope she wouldn't over do it. DISCIPLINE MUST RULE!

oh, and by the way, i eat chickens now....

I headed to the Medical City yesterday to have my second shot of the HPV vaccine , as well as my thyroid check up. There was a loooong queue with my Endocrinologist. I wonder if she's the only one in Medical City who has that specialization. I made sure I won't miss that check up because it's pretty hard to get an appointment. I was supposed to have my checkup on December 15 but had a conflict with my schedule. I was rescheduled January 31! the 31st patient on the 31st of January. what a coincidence. LOL!

Oh my gulay! i have to blog this. i just saw this japanese movie called "heavenly forest" and it made me cry buckets of bitter-sweet tears. waaah! thank you to majo and nikko for talking about it on facebook. it was a good cry.

1. the first and the last kissing scene at their special place (they made it without the MUSH)

It would be really nice to be able to go out of the country and volunteer. i know, there are a lot of people who are in need here (Phils.). but it would be different if i'd experience and learn from another culture. *sighs*.... I wish i can go and volunteer in Argentina on January... just for 4 months. it would be sooo awesome! though i doubt that mom and dad would approve of it...

#1. it's expensive

#2. i have no one with me (no other contact)

#3. they wont approve of the idea of me living with foster parents...

this is so frustrating. i like it so badly... if there's a will, there's a way!.... hrmmm ... i should think of a plan to raise money for this so i can eliminate #1. to eliminate #2, i should organize a group (friends) who are willing to join the program. I will have to bring my cousin with me since she has a friend in argentina. that way, i can get rid of #3 (for accomodations, haha)... i shall think of this everyday... it shall materialize someday. yey!

I went to the ZOO yesterday!!! woohooo!!! i love the animals!!!... i just dislike their stink... i saw an elephant, exotic birds, a hippo(!) and a sleeping tiger. there were nocturnal bears, too... it's really interesting. i've never seen such large snakes ever! looked like they were anacondas (i know, there aren't any in the Phils)... the monkeys, by the way, reminded me of the silly furball that pulled my flowery blue skirt and won't let go when i was 7 years old. haha!

I went to the zoo primarily to take pics of the animals. unfortunately, i left my beloved gear and was not able to get satisfying shots. ohwell. next time, i shall bring the thing with me. always.

Klik is my new photo club family (club na nga, family pa. haha). i am really thankful to have met new and interesting people whom i share the same interest with. Tim, the organizer, was so nice. he even lent me his flash! he also shares tidbits of tips/ techniques on how to go about taking pics. there were after shoot dinners... tsk. i missed those. had to get home early to my lola's house. 1. constructive criticism is good.. pero wag kang makikinig sa ibang photographers kung na achieve mo yung 'look' na gusto sa isang photograph.

Ahh. there are a lot to learn in photography. Yes, cameras of today are made to think for us to save time and effort. but to really understand it and get the real essence of photography, you really have to study it.. hone it. so.. what are the basics? you have to learn the ISO, aperture and shutterspeed. once you get the 3 basic "pillars" (?), you can go and do your thing. By the way, i'd like to thank Tim Ignacio for organizing the photoshoot; Midge and Den for posing for us; Bobbit, Erwin, Jun and the other photogs for sharing tidbits about style and technique. Here are some of my photos. :)

I have been watching some bittersweet materials this week. this evening, ate rochie showed me a short animation called "KIWI". the character was cutesy patootsky, but the film just gave me a kick at the end. wooh. *tears* go on. watch it!

I have also see "7 POUNDS" starring will smith. i've seen the movie 3 times on HBO but i've never started it.

Ronald McDonald has been my profile picture ever since Sanctuaryo was created. just now, i thought of changing it. But i dunno what picture i'd change it to. So, i finally decided not to change anything here. haha. big deal. whatever.

I wonder why i cannot log in to a certain website with my connection. In other providers (rather, in places with free wifi), i can log in without any problem. it frustrates me.

I'm such a whiner! haha. sorry about that...

Let me tell you about something nice.

This week, i was able to apply for a volunteer job as a nurse in Laguna Provincial Hospital with the help of my cousin- in- law, ate Ginny. Without, her, i won't be able to get a spot on that hospital. (i don't agree with the whole system, but in times of great need, we have to go with the flow). Anyway, the volunteer work will start on March 2011. THANKS, ATE GINNY! Geez, i still have a few months to fill in. What to do??? argh... actually,here are my options..

1. I can apply for a Med-Rep position in Invida (i met Biboy's classmate in elementary who is now a director area manager for the company. she said i can go and take the exam immediately)--my predicament is, if i'd get the position, i am just going to be with the company for only 4 months. Is it worth it to work for a company for only 4 months? and will it be fair for them? Daddy's advice: concentrate on nursing practice first. make it a priority.

2. Look for other hospitals that are in need of nurses. i personally want to try out working in maternal and child lying-in clinics. i want to have be good at delivering babies. :)

3. Enroll in trainings such as IVT (which is a necessity), ACLS-BLS-CPR trainings, etc. But this will cost moolah. i've been living on charity for 3 years now. i want to earn again (says my id)... but i need trainings so i can be good at what i do, patience is a vitue (says my super ego)... My ego is confused right now.

4. Be active with Red Cross.. (i'm always available for red cross, unless i'm doing something else at the moment ). i want to experience a 'real rescue'.

5. Just wait for March 2011 and do nothing else... just facebooking... (ha! no way! scrap this option out. i'd be bored to death)

6. Just wait for March 2011 and do something unrelated to nursing like photography or capoeira or events organizing (haha... my gosh, this is tempting!!!! i want (says my id)!!! but not practical (says my super ego) cos i need to be focusing on nursing practice... *sighs* I MISS THE ART SCENE! Oh well... i can do this on the side, i guess... i've got lots of ideas for our Christmas party. hihi.

7. Apply as a private duty nurse and take care of the rich elderly people in Ayala Alabang. (hrmmm... it's a good idea cos i'd be able to practice nursing, at the same time, get paid to do it. still, i have to think if it's feasible given the time frame)

8. Buy a franchise of a certain food chain and make moolah out of it... (again, FOCUS!)

9. Review for IELTS, a requirement to get a job in Canada. From what i heard, it has its validity for 3 years (i think). timing is of the essence here, too. Should read on details about this.

Ok, so these are fresh thoughts from my neurons. Have to work my butt on this by next week.

Sept. 28, 2010-Dahil hindi ko dala ang aking journal at wala nang space a aking phone (para maka pag 'blog'), dating gawi ulit - sa scratch paper nalang mag sulat. isang dakilang nars na ako dahil registered na. kulang nalang ay yung physical license at yung ID ko. shempre, practice sa hospital din.

kasama ko si Royce kanina... sa october 19 ko pa makukuha ang license ko.may mga pamilyar na mga mukha akong nakita kanina tulad ni Ruby at ni Justine. *haaay*... sana naman maging effective at maging efficient ako na nars pag nasa hospital na ako. kelangan ko talagang magsanay na maging mabilsi sa lahat ng mga bagay. kanina nakikinig ako kay Royce tungkol sa mga kwento nya sa hospital nakikinig palang ako, pagod na ako. IKAW NA ANG BAHALA SAAKIN, LORD!

Dear Lord, I am such a nervous wreck right now. Im afraid, i still cannot handle too much stress in my life. i mean.... this one i have right now is not even a problem to others. but for me... for me it's something.... if you think about it, it's simple but... arrrgh! i think, what i cant handle is shame of asking favors because of stupid mistakes.....

as they say, mistakes make you stronger in the long run... but i hope i wont make grave mistakes! not in nursing... not ever!

New hobby

Yesterday was my first ever pre-nup photoshoot... (ok here i go again, telling the world what i'm doing... sorry can't help it. haha)... it WAS challenging for me since this is all new to me. see, i don't have a formal training in photography and i had to direct as well. i can say that i was happy with some of the photos and kinda disappointed with some... acceptable since im a newbie. :)

shempre, ang tagal tagal tagal tagal ko nanaman hindi nakapag sulat dito.. bakit? kasi naging mejo busy siguro na may halong katamaran. hehe... pero sige na nga magkkwento na ako. kamusta naman? maraming pangyayari. :)

1. pagkatapos ng board exam. mejo tumambay ng kaunti... sumasama kay ate aimee magpa "treat" sa nugabest. sayang may free na termanium stones na sa sana ako kung tinuloytuloy ko yun. pero nag karon ng appointments e.

2. nanirahan sa sta cruz ng ilang lingo upang makadalo sa mga training: (a) disaster nursing, (b) ambulance operation training, (c) instructors' training course for BLS and CPR.

3. Astig! Red Cross Instructor na ako. angas no?

4. at eto ang mas Angas....PASADO AKO SA BOARD EXAM!!!!! WOOOHOOO! :)

i've been meaning to blog about my adventures in manila. hehe. but i didnt feel like writing for the longest time. so what im going to do is to just rewrite some of my thoughts here from my phone. whatever happened to my written journal? pffft.

as i was about to open my phone to retype my previous thoughts, it went dead! well, might as well just blog about my thoughts now.

i was talking to my mom earlier and she's scolding me for not going to the doctor to have myself checked. i didnt want to hear her chatter about it. so i just said 'uh huh...uhuh' with a slight yamot tone on my voice. i realized after that she's just doing whatever she has to do (you know, nagging.) for our own good. haaay.

He was online today. for some reason, he's not popping up on my screen saying 'petch!'. SO WHY IS HE BEING SUCH A SNOB? (as if i should even care) hrmmm... im just a little bit paranoid. why? cos compared to all my guy friends, he's the only one who thinks that girls usually hit on him... AND guys like him snob on girls who hit on them... SO, this made me wonder; DOES HE THINK----?... BUT I NEVER-----!.... oh well... *kamot ulo* the heck with that? hehe. or maybe he realized we are not meant to be super friends after all. but... thats akay... No sweat. :)

anyway! *stares at the ceiling* did i eat dinner? oooh... yeah, i did eat an oven heated swiss mushroom burger which tasted like burned wax. i left the paper wrappings with it while it's heating up.

i was absent at nugabest today. i felt quite sick and i didnt want to fall in line with the geriatrics. i may be feeling the 'healing reaction', if it was true. dangit.

sample lang. Wow! ang galing naman. gumagana na ulit ang import/ export system ng multiply to blogger. yehey! :) masaya ito...

hrmm.. ano ba ang magandang ishare. oh.. eto... lately, nagpupunta kami nila ate aimee sa NUGA BEST CENTER para magpa- moxibustion therapy.. so far so good. :) maganda ang feeling after ng therapy. although ayoko munang magshare kung ano ang mga pagbabago sa katawan ko kasi gusto ko sure na ako bago ako mag testimonial sa kanila. i want to make sure na hindi lang "psychological" ito. hehe. Irerecommend ko talaga ang free therapy na ito sa mga matatanda na may mga masasakit sa kanilang katawan at sa mga kabataan na hypochondriac o sa mga tanong may sakit. BASTA! pag mas marami pang magagandang pagbabago, saka na ako mag sshare ng testimonial. hehe. so, eto palang ang ginagawa ko sa buhay...

naghahanap ng trabaho? nako dapat ay maghanap narin ako. sa aug may training ako sa redcross so hindi naman idle habang nagaantay.

yun lang so far. next week, pramis papacheck na ako sa doctor. sa monday! as in sa monday! hindi na ako magpapaligoy ligoy pa... tas dadalhin ko narin ang laptop ko sa service center... kainis. hardware pa ata ang may problema. tsk tsk.

pang good mood naman, mag pho-photoshoot narin ako ng nature. sana lang hindi tag ulan.. hrmm... peroooo, magandang concept ang ulan sa shooting... hrmmm.... next week din yan

oonga pala... nag promise din ako sa blog ko na gagawa ako ng testimonials sa mga nakatutuwang lecturers ng RCAP. salamat sa kanila talaga. kung ano man ang result na lalabas, pasalamat parin ako sa mga inputs na binigay nila samin. at masasaya silang tao. kaya they are very likable. sana ang memory nila ay hindi mabura sa aking isipan... sana maiinspire parin ako pag maisip ko sila... parang pag naiisip ko si Sir Hen at si Dra. Daza, nakakainspire sila talaga pag dating sa larangan ng medisina at narsing dahil makikita mo talaga ang dedikasyon nila sa kanilang trabaho... hindi basta basta... kaya lubos parin ang aking pasasalamat sa kanila. :) amen.

sana ang mga plano ay hindi mapako. bow! hehe.

i thought, "imaginary conversations? hindi e.. di eto yung term na hinahanap ko. arrrggghh." ok so now that i remembered, it's supposed to be MENTAL not IMAGINARY. haha.... so why was i thinking about it? wala lang. naisip ko lang. i was talking to aiza the other day and asked, 'is it normal that i create these mental pictures in my head and converse with people created by my imagination?"... she said, "yuh. di ka nag iisa." haha... it's fun actually. like daydreaming.

i'm about to finish a 22 page reviewer for RESEARCH. i should've finished hours ago.. ha! anyway...

magandang gabi, blog. kasalukuyan ay 6:56 pm ngayon. ako ay nagpahinga muna sa pagbabasa ng aking mga previous exams sa LMR at Prof. Adjustment. naaliw naman ako at marami din akong natutunan sa aming naging lecturer na si Mrs. Capili. Magaling sha. ngayon ko lang nauunawaan ang mga bagaybagay tungol sa subject na yun. Salamat din pala kay Mr. Leocadio sa napaka komikong reviewer tungkol sa research. pinadali nito ang Research subject.

ang init init parin kahit palapit na ang June. kanina umulan.. saglit lang. pakiramdam ko nga na hindi man lang pumatak sa lupa ang ulan... nag evaporate kaagad.

tungkol sa pre-diabetis: hindi pa pala ako nakakapag kwento tungkol sa aking kondisyon. pinatawan ako ni Dra. Carreon ng pre-diabetic (condition).... badtrip talaga! pigil na pigil ako sa mga pagkain na kinakain ko. ayan tuloy... payatot na ako... kulang nalang saakin ay mga papel de hapon. pwede na akong maging saranggola... liliparin ng hangin. haaay.. anyway... mas ok narin na ganto kesa naman mag karon ako ng mga komplkasyon balang araw... nasa huli ang pag sisisi... kaya DIET muna tayo ngayon.... 6 months! anim na bwan bago ako mag pa pacheckup ulit. ang tagal pa. sana naman e may pagbabago na by that time.

hrmmm.. ano pa ba ang kkwento ko sayo... wala pa ulit... sige hanggang sa muli. dito muna.
